Drew + Yuko

Drew + Yuko had an absolutely amazing wedding yesterday. The ceremony was at a beautiful villa on the Uluwatu cliffs, one of the most amazing wedding locations I've seen. The reception then followed at an equally amazing Villa by the pool over looking the Jimbarran bay lights.

It was a bit of a change for me being at a wedding as a guest and not a photographer, though I couldn't resist taking a few shoots - Yuko just looked stunning.



Drew's niece Taylor couldn't resist a dip in the pool right after the ceremony. What a cutie.

Friends

I've been spending time catching up with some of my Indonesian friends that work in Kuta.

This guy (Pak) makes the best food on Kuta beach, and always serves it with a massive smile. not bad for 50c.

cool crabs

I've been thinking a lot about what Jesh mentioned on his blog about walking down the stairs backwards and learning from children (you'll have to read it : ), which got me thinking about these crabs that put all that work into their balls of sand. Its like you can see that some of them love designing and create neat little shapes and lines, while others just think its work and dump all the sand in one big messy pile : )

BALI

I love Bali. I spent most of today exploring on my motorbike, ventured out Canguu way. I love watching the flags fly in the rice padi's.

Watched a bit of the Ripcurl Pro at Uluwatu yesterday, the only place that the waters not completely crowded.

a little love

Check out this gorgeous little elephant that Jess + Jamie brought me back from their honeymoon, along with a cute little elephant purse, which is going to be perfect for carrying my lunch money down to the bali beaches in : ).

Anneke + Malcolm

Anneke + Malcolm were married in the middle of Friday's crazy storm. Thankfully both vintage cars made it to the church and God held off the rain between 2 and 4 like we asked, giving us plenty of opportunity to get some awesome (and rather windy) photos around Fremantle.

Just because it's bucketing down with rain, and I'm getting so ridiculously excited about going back to Indo. Yeeeeeeew. 4.5 days but I'm not counting.
Have a wedding this afternoon (pray it will stop raining at 2 : )
Off to Albany after that to celebrate my Dad's 50th with the rest of my family, and if the weather eases take some family photos.

This time next week...

I'll be soaking up the last rays of the beautiful Bali sunsets and soaking up as much warmth as I can get. Yay.

Michelle + Clint

Clint + Michelle rock my world. See, not only do they share my love for all things 'ol'school' and order all my favorite photos from their engagement shoot, but they also willingly went along with anything that I suggested might look 'hot' in their wedding photos, even if that meant trooping through waist high wet grass.

The wedding took place in the super cute church at Fairbridge Village out near Pinjarra. Not only is it an awesome location it's also charity : )
